Manual.to, the only Belgian scale-up in the 100+ Accelerator by AB InBev, Coca-Cola, Danone and Unilever

Published: May 27, 2026

Nearly 3,000 startups. Over 40 countries. Six consumer goods multinationals. 45 companies selected. One Belgian.

Manual.to, the Ghent-based scale-up digitising work instructions on factory floors, has been selected for the seventh cohort of the 100+ Accelerator. The programme is jointly run by AB InBev, The Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Mondelēz International and Unilever. The jury is made up of operational leaders and innovators from across the six groups.

Direct access to factory floors, not a trophy

The 100+ Accelerator is not a competition with cash prizes. It is an industrial engine. Selected startups enter a structured programme covering three stages: a funded pilot at one of the partner companies, mentorship from operational experts with decades of plant-floor experience, and a defined path from pilot to global rollout across the partners' factories.

Together, the six partners operate hundreds of production sites and employ hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. For Manual.to, the next step is a concrete pilot at one of those factories, with a measurable goal: improve operational efficiency and the safety of frontline workers. Details on scope, site and KPIs will be communicated through the programme's official channels.

The quote

"We're a Belgian company, founded in Ghent, built with Belgian customers. Today we help shape the factories of six of the largest consumer goods companies on the planet. That's a milestone for us, but just as much for the Flemish and Belgian start-up ecosystem. We're proving that you can play in the Champions League from Ghent."

What Manual.to does

Manual.to was founded in Ghent in 2016. The platform helps industrial companies capture and share operational know-how directly where the work happens: an operator films a task on a smartphone, AI turns the video into a multilingual, step-by-step instruction, accessible via a QR code on the machine or workstation.

The technology is already used by industrial leaders including Barilla, Lonza, Aperam, ABB and Procter & Gamble.

In December 2025, Manual.to was named global winner of the Elia Group Open Innovation Challenge, selected from 238 startups in 41 countries.

A Belgian scale-up in rare European company

The selection adds to a growing list of Belgian scale-ups breaking through internationally in industrial technology. For Jorim Rademaker, this is no coincidence:

"Flanders and Belgium have an incredible industrial DNA. Factories, technical talent, a strong ecosystem with Voka, Agoria and Sirris pushing scale-ups forward, universities doing the underlying research. What's happening to us today can just as easily happen to ten other Belgian companies tomorrow. This is good news for the entire Belgian entrepreneurial landscape."
